Update 6/16/23 upped my rating We wanted to try it again this time just for regular menu. We had ordered takeout sushi from here it was good. I have to say the sushi here eat in tonight was fantastic. Three rolls were excellent. Lots of fresh fish small rice. This is probably my second favorite sushi in Medellín. We will definitely be back. We went for Medellin gourmet. I am so skeptical of sushi here. Amsu did not disappoint. The sushi was tasty and good quality. The tuna appetizer was way to sweet for me. I don’t enjoy fish and sweet sauce. The place is nice and clean and the staff was very nice. We will go back and try the regular menu.

Absolutely amazing! Amsu Sushi Nikkei never disappoints their sushi, baos, and pokes are all top-notch. You can really taste the freshness and quality in every bite. The flavors are perfectly balanced, the presentation is beautiful, and the ingredients are always super fresh. Definitely one of the best sushi spots I’ve tried, highly recommend! The price is another huge plus.

Amsu is one of my favourite restaurants in Medellin. Their ceviches and sushis are so so good! I also highly recommend their arroz cremoso con salmon! Yummy!

We ordered delivery based on pictures and hoped & prayed that what arrives lives up to our expectations as spoiled as we have been by Nacion Sushi. And boy did they deliver! First of all, and I don't normally do this, but let me gush over their packaging! Clean, neat, well secured, I felt like I was unwrapping birthday presents not food! Secondly, the sauces! Our order came with 7 different condiments and we had fun time mixing and matching them with the varied foods we ordered. Very good quality/variety. And finally onto the food itself. We ordered: - Sushi without rice - spring roll with tuna - tempura veggies - a salmon poke bowl - shrimp giozas I would give all of it 6 out of 5 stars except the poke bowl just because for the amount of food in the bowl, the salmon serving was rather frugal. Tempura I would dare to say is even better than at Nacion. Giozas were absolutely scrumptious - best I've had here so far. The Sushi was very generous with its components and the spring roll (Vietnamita de Atun) was incredibly light despite its size. Everything fresh, wonderful flavor components and great texture. Would absolutely order again!
